Located in Jatni, The Facade House was envisioned as a contemporary residential transformation project where architectural elevation became the defining medium for reimagining an existing structure into a bold modern villa. Designed for Mr. Khan, this 6,200 sq. ft. residence reflects a refined balance between modern aesthetics, structural adaptability, and functional luxury living.
The project was developed around the challenge of working with an existing civil structure while creating an entirely refreshed architectural identity. Instead of treating the pre-existing framework as a limitation, the design approach transformed it into an opportunity to craft a visually dynamic and contemporary villa through strategic façade articulation, layered geometry, and modern material expression.
The core design philosophy focused on creating a powerful architectural elevation that could seamlessly integrate with the original structure while enhancing the visual character of the residence. Clean linear forms, balanced proportions, cantilever-inspired elements, textured surfaces, and carefully framed openings together create a sophisticated modern façade that defines the identity of The Facade House.
One of the key challenges of the project was ensuring structural harmony between the old and new architectural interventions. Careful planning was required to maintain circulation efficiency, natural lighting, ventilation, and spatial functionality while introducing a completely modern design language. Through thoughtful detailing and adaptive planning strategies, the residence was transformed into a contemporary home that feels both elegant and timeless.
The villa’s design emphasizes openness, visual depth, and modern residential comfort while preserving the practicality of the original structure. Large openings, layered balcony compositions, and contemporary exterior detailing enhance both the aesthetic quality and the everyday living experience within the home.
